Waste Wranglers
Waste Wranglers is a small game made for the Muswellbrook Shire Council in early 2022. It was funded with part of the Better Waste and Recycling Fund managed by the NSW EPA. It is intended to be brought to community events and displayed as part of a larger initiative to teach people more about recycling. The game was designed with this in mind, and is easy to pick up and play, consists of short play sessions and has a high score leaderboard, encouraging players to return and try multiple times to beat the high score, all while teaching players about recycling. The game also incorporates characters shown in other recycling education media used by the Muswellbrook Shire Council and features stylised landmarks from the local area.
